Our standard building inspections cover the entire interior and exterior of a building, including the operation of doors and windows, taps, drainage ceilings and walls. We’ll also cover roof and sub-floor (terranean) spaces. Exterior areas include the roof cladding, windows, doors, decking, fences, paths and driveways.
We also deploy our thermal imaging cameras to scan a property looking for any critical points not visible to the naked eye. This is a quick, thorough and non-invasive means of investigating, and among other things will confirm any moisture migration paths and evaluate the effectiveness of a property’s heating system.
Pest Inspections
Infestations of vermin, termites, wasps, birds and other pests are common concerns for every home owner. We offer a comprehensive pest inspections to identify problems areas so you can buy with confidence. We will inspect the property for all types of pests using thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters.
Building and Pest Inspections
When buying a property most buyers will choose the combined building and pest inspection. This gives you an in-depth analysis of both the structural integrity plus the identification of any pest presence. Most times this will require a two man team. One inspector will inspect the building structure whilst the other identifies any pest presence. During a building and pest inspection we search for major and minor defects including leaking roofs, timber framing inadequacies, termite infestation, potential fire hazards, subfloor ventilation, damp proof course, smoke detectors, defective gutters and much more. Working together they will inspect and analyse the entire property and compile a detailed report which will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
